[1.24] Alarms (window focus stop)

Saw posts about alarms not firing when focus changes..

Open CMUD
ESC
Settings editor
create a second window (untitled2)
create a module (testmod)
create a trigger in testmod
pattern:test
script: #alarm +5 {#show {fired}}

focus window untitled
#fire "test"
quickly switch focus to window untitled2

alarm will not complete.
in the settings editor it will be listed under the correct window, but not complete itself.

If you again focus (untitled), and enable/disable this alarm, when the alarm completes CMUD will crash.
If you keep focus on (untitled2), and enable/disable this arm, it still will not complete (no crash though)

Any idea about when we get this fixed?

I use (or rather try to use) an alarm to keep track of roundtimes in Dragonrealms and because I have more than one window I am pretty helplessly stuck. I posted a topic about this some time ago and got a reply that it was because I used #WAIT which worked well for me in zMUD (like many other things that just blows up now). This new application is getting my mood down totally - I haven't really played my favorite mud for months now because of all my scripts suddenly not working. I really worked on them but I just hit my head against the wall every time...

Zugg's said that bugfixes like this will pop up in every new version - there are enough known bugs that your favourite one might not be fixed in the next version, but new features aren't taking priority over bugfixes, they're being done simultaneously.

New versions are slated to come out at the end of every month.

I hope they are not. No need to to bring new features until the existing ones are working if you ask me. As it is now I cannot use CMUD without making more compromises that I am willing to, so I just wait and hope for better times...
