Special Characters in scripts |
In CMUD, why is it when you set special characters to something other than the default, you still have to use the default special characters in your scripts unless you use them from the command line? Is there a setting to change in order for the special characters to be 'universal' like in zMUD?

No, in scripts then the special characters are standardised in scripts. This is because packages can now be shared between users, so if people had different characters within scripts it would break compatibility. It's something that's been discussed during the beta phase - I don't have a link to hand but there will be a few mentions of it over the last year of the open beta.
