[1.16] package editor, Ctrl+z = undo? |
repro:
open a session
open the package editor
make an alias
type asdf
press ctrl+z a few times
issue:
every few presses of ctrl+z reverses a single letter..
expected:
perhaps each press should be doing more than 1/4 letters at a time?
but then again it isn't even in the menu, an unofficial feature?

No, this isn't even an official feature. I actually have no idea what ctrl-z is supposed to do. The editor uses a 3rd party rich text component, and it looks like they are doing something odd with ctrl-z. My guess is that they are trying to implement an undo/redo buffer and it's probably the syntax highlighting in CMUD that is making each key press into a separate value in the undo buffer.
Not something I'm going to worry about right now. |

ctrl-z is the standard key combination for undo for many text based editors so it is probably enabled from the 3rd party component by default.
