[1.15] Closong Cmud with Alt-F4 |
I purchased the software and entered the license code. After closing Cmud with Alt-F4, when I re-start Cmud now, the screen has reverted to asking for my license# again. If I try to enter the license, the program stops responding and I need to end it with task manager. I just keep playing as a trial version with 30 days remaining in the meantime, I figured I'd erase the directory and do a fresh re-install with 1.16 when available. Just wondering if anyone else gets this (though its probably just my corrupted pkg...)

Closing CMUD with Alt-F4 doesn't make any difference. If it's asking for your license number again, then some other software has done something to your Windows registry. Also, if entering your license key makes it stop responding, then there is definitely something on your computer that is interferring with the copy protection.
Try to uninstall CMUD and completely delete your CMUD directory. Then reboot Windows. Now download and install CMUD using the Admin account on your computer and run it the first time using the Admin account. This should ensure that the copy protection system is installed correctly.
If you still have trouble, send email to support@zuggsoft.com and include the name and license key you are using and I'll try to help more. I can't help much with license issues on a public forum. |
