Mapping unobvious exits and doors

When I attempt to map an area in my mud that is solely based on exits that one cannot see - the mapper will automaticly add a door to the link between the rooms. I have looked everywhere but I cant seem to find a way for the mapper to stop this. Is it possible?

Secondly is there a way to edit all links in a zone? I have noticed that one can mark all links. The reason for asking is (as you might have guessed from above) that I have huge outdoor maps with door links between them and honestly its a drag to manually remove the door on each link.

I use the 7.21 zMUD

Thanks in advance

Yeah, that's always annoyed me, too. Never found a way to turn it off though :(

Hopefully CMUD's new mapper won'd do this when it's out next year :D

To prevent door creation:

1)Open the mapper
2)Click on the Configuration Settings option in the mapper's Config menu
3)Select the Strings and Doors category from the pane on the left
4)Uncheck the Auto Door Creation checkbox (Simutronics support seems to cause ZMud to ignore configuration settings, so you might need to play around with this stuff as I can't do so to better explain what else to do)
