2 questions

1. is there a way to set up the session windows so I can alt-tab to switch between them?

2. I have set up seperate packages for different types of chars, eg. Cleric Fighter Thief etc.
at the startup window i went in a specified a certain package for each character yet all characters seem to draw triggers from each of the other packages, like my thief will fire triggers from my clerics package and so forth, what am i doing wrong?

any help would be greatly appreciated
thanx
Nate

1) Ctrl-Tab is the proper way to switch between windows within an application. Alt-Tab is for switching between different applications. That's the Windows standard operation.

2) Click the Edit Session action and go to the Files/Packages tab for each character session. This will show which packages are loaded for which characters. Make sure the primary package file has a unique name for each character, then add any shared packages that you want to use.

For example, your Cleric character should probably have a primary package of Cleric.pkg, your Thief would be Thief.pkg, etc. Then if you have any packages containing shared triggers/scripts for all of your characters, you would add the SharedTriggers.pkg (or whatever you call it) to the list of packages loaded for each of your characters.

For more help, give us more details on exactly how you are trying to set up your characters.

1. Since CMUD now supports having multiples instances running, the easiest way to do what you're asking is to run two instances of CMUD and connect each instance to a different session. [Edit] errr... what Zugg said.

2. It sounds like you created several modules in one package. Try reading up on how to create a new package. [Edit] ditto previous edit.
