[2.37] #log doesn't give an error |
When the folder you're trying to write to doesn't exist, #log doesn't give an error - it claims that the log is on, but it also doesn't create the folder and thus doesn't start logging. Either it should create the folders or complain that it can't write the file.
To test, I did #log "D:\somefolderthatdoesntexist\test.txt". |

I think Zugg stated before now that the directory has to exist. I'm fairly cetain he said there is no error checking in this regard and that you must verify before hand that the direcotry exists.

Fair enough. If whatever he's using to write the file doesn't support returning an error in this way, then it's understandable, but otherwise it's something CMUD could do better. It's not exactly high priority, but it's there :P
