Cmud settings issue

I'm fairly new to Cmud, and so am in the beginning stages of writing two systems on it, for two different MUDs, from scratch.
Everything was going quite well, until a little while ago. One login and its settings works just fine. The other, which worked fine the previous day with no changes made between, stopped working at all. Every time Cmud loads those settings, the main window comes up..then starts to blink and vibrate. If I type anything into the command window, it locks the computer up entirely. Alternatively I can just F-4 out and nothing else dies.
Those settings are not particularly complicated. A regex prompt trigger, a basic sipper tied to that, and dumb aliases. Maybe forty triggers or so. Nothing that could infringe upon known problems, not even close.
Help plz?  |

It sounds like the layout file got damaged. Try holding down Shift while opening the session offline, this will load the session without loading its layout data. A new layout will be saved when you close the session.

Sweet. So..that seems to have worked. It still messed up, but I found that if I exported the settings, deleted that session and made a new one to import the settings to...all good!
...well, mostly. The settings were all there, but they didn't work. Zmud acted as if I had the whole thing turned off, not even basic aliases would fire. Parsing, triggers, settings...all good. Restart Cmud...still nothing. Restart computer...still no worky. Go to class, come back two hours later, try again...works fine.
Any ideas as to why this would happen, and how to fix it when it does without the need for such an interval? |

By "exported the settings", I assume you mean to XML - do you still have that XML? With it, we can try to recreate your package and see if it fails for us, too.
