i dont think so.. i use it for turning on and off a set of triggers that are related to each other. calling all of em at the same time would be disasterous.

Think of a "class" like a folder on your desktop. It can contain a group of triggers, aliases, macros, etc, and you can enable and disable an entire class at once. So it lets you turn your triggers on and off in a group.

What you're thinking of, Zema, is #ALIAS (sort of). Aliases allow you to use a specific set of any combination of mud commands and zscript commands/functions/etc by simply referring to the alias name. In this way, and with certain commands (ie, #temp, #T+ and #T-, among lots of others), you can control not only input to the mud but also all the other settings like triggers and buttons.
If you have a lot of settings you want to turn on/off, though, class folders are better to work with. |

I have no idea what you just said, so just to make a stab in the dark here you only need to trigger off the prompt in two situations:
1)if you want to capture info from your game prompt, change the way it looks, or execute commands/aliases/etc whenever your prompt appears
2)you are using the #TAG command to override the automapper. If you don't tag your prompt in this instance, tagging anything else is rather useless and unpredictable (ZMud uses the prompt to figure out the room information.) |
