My computer crashed which has Zmud on it with with the Zmud access code.
I have to use my wife's computer temporarily until it is fixed.
The computer has Window's Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
How do I get an access code for Cmud to work on wife's computer until I get my computer fixed?

zMUD and CMUD licenses are not interchangeable.
You can retrieve a new key for your product from the zuggsoft store page.
Click on the purchase you made on your orders history.
There will be a button to press to request a new key.

That key will not work. I tried to get another but it says access denied because one was just recently retrieved. I initially installed Zmud and retrieved one for that, and then found out that Zmud will not work with the Vista on this computer, although it does on my computer.
So now what?

You should be able to run it in compatibility mode, no?

How do I set that? I don't know much about these clients other than to log on and use it.

Right-click the program icon, choose properties. Then click on the "compatibility" tab, and choose which version of windows you'd like to emulate for the program. zMUD should run fine if you set it to Windows XP SP2.

You can also use this tab to always run a program as an administrator, which can help with some Vista headaches with other programs, though it shouldn't make any difference for zMUD.
