Feature request: Horizontal scroll in settings tree |
Well, just what it says in the topic, really.
Once you have more than two or three levels of depth in the settings, the "names" in the tree can get pushed so far across you need to expand the pane a lot to be able to read them.
It would be nice if there was (the option of) a horizontal scrollbar (or some other method for scrolling) for this pane.
I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this. I did a search but couldn't find anything. |

You can drag the divider bar over to make that pane wider.

Yes.. I did say "you need to expand the pane a lot". I'd like to avoid having to do that, by being able to scroll instead.

Go to View -> Panels -> Show class panel.
You have your horizontal scroll. |

Hmm.. That gives me a horizontal scroll (when vertical view is selected), but only for the new (flat) panel and not the tree, which is what needed the scroll more.
The class panel does kind of give the same effect as a scroll, I guess... But only shows the currently selected class, which isn't really the same. |
