Is v3 stable?
Since my free upgrade period has just barely run out and don't want to pay for more of the same...

Anyone know for sure if the new version is more stable/less buggy, and to what degree? Anyone done any thorough testing of it?
My collections of scripts.

Other users can post their own opinions, but beta testers have been helping to improve the stability for more than a year now. It is significantly more stable than the 2.37 version, unless you have old scripts with bugs or problems in them from zMUD that need to be fixed. So yes, there has been extensive testing, but nothing is ever completely bug free and we always needed more beta testers.

I personally find that the 3.x is the most stable CMUD to date. I have been using it for all my MUDding and other uses since the early versions. Each major version of CMUD has represented large leaps forward in functionality, and stability. The 3.x line is no exception. Many folks like the floating buttons feature. The first phases of the mapper redesign are complete making it an order of magnitude more powerful. Personally I am a huge fan of the the native SQL DB support including native SQLite for databases. Many others, especially the IRE players love the GMCP which will make new and future mapping fool-proof, and requires nominal effort to integrate with existing maps.

In short, Yes. It's stable. And may I add, worth the price and then some.
