Fixing MDAC-related mapper database problems
 
I made this a sticky post over in the zMapper forum, but thought that zMUD users might also be interested.

zMUD and zMapper uses the Microsoft MDAC/ADO database software to store your map. The MDAC software can easily get corrupted on your computer, or partially overwritten by installing other software packages. This can lead to all sorts of wierd errors about table validation, or datasets.

A fellow zMapper user tracked down an excellent site for debugging and fixing problems with your MDAC installation. This site has been updated for WinXP SP2, which is notoriously difficult to fix MDAC issues.
