having some problems possibly mapper related.

a few things of concern
1. when i log in some characters, they open a mdb file. probably to do with zmapper. is there any way to get rid of this? (all i know is whatever it is, generates an ini file with the same name as my .mud file. i name each of my mud files to fit each character. eg xenapan has xenapan.mud this thing is opening a xenapan.ini and a xenapan.mdb after using the character.

2. the second part of the problem is when i log on and off characters quickly, it often generates an error and crashes zmud.
variation1: zmud does not stop working but all commands in the input line get copied into a new window with a message at the top saying something about an invalid address.
variation2: zmud constantly creates more and more error windows with the original error and instead of closing down, it fills the screen with error messages asking me to press OK.

i suspect mapper because i have tried to use it on a limited amount of characters. also it is those characters that open these mdb/ini files and cause the crashes.
