When you select a Path setting and open the advanced options panel at the bottom, you will get an editor panel like this:
- Enabled
- Determines if this path is enabled or disabled.
- Name
- This is the name of the path. This is the text that you would enter on the command line after the "dot" movement character to execute the path.
- Value
- These are the speedwalk directions assigned to this path
- Enable Keypad
- This option determines if the keys on the keypad can be used to add directions to the Value field. When enabled, simple click within the path where you want to start adding directions, then start pressing the appropriate keypad keys and the directions assigned to the keys will be added.
- Direction buttons
- The various direction buttons can be used to add directions to the path. The trashcan button can be used to delete the direction before the cursor. This works like the Backspace key, but instead of just deleting a character, the trashcan button will decrement any number that is in front of the current direction.
The Reverse button can be used to reverse the current path. The Expand and Collapse buttons can be used to expand the path (3n is expanded to nnn for example), or to collapse the path (nnn is converted to 3n for example).
- Notes
- Used to store comments with the path. You might use this to remind yourself the starting room on the MUD that the path is used in.
