open zmapper with a data file so you have some maps to export.
File->export->text
select a table (does not matter which)
select "a field" or "all fields" (does not matter)
keep the defaults, comma (CSV), keep importable, table row and double quotes ticked (althought t makes no difference)
You should be on the "Export Text" dialog this looks like a common dialog box. Create a new directory.

Until you create a text file called ".txt" you cannot change to this new directory lower subdirectory or anyother for that matter.

Please do a little testing.

I've added this to the bug list.

I've also send an email to the author of this topic to remind him that the software IS tested and that BETA = BUGS! It's impossible for one person to test every possible feature. If people don't want to deal with bugs, then they shouldn't use beta versions.
