Window tiling |
I sometimes play two MUDs at the same time, and noticed that when I tell zMUD to horizontally tile the windows, they come out vertical, and vice versa.

Are you sure?
I just tested it with quick tiling, and it seems to work fine for me.
Remember: Horizontal doesn't mean that's the longest direction, it means that is the direction that the windows are aligned along. So a "horizontal" means that the windows are left & right of one another, while a "vertical" means they are ontop of one another.
