Using Zmud as a telnet to Pine. |
Dear all,
I do hope someone can help me here as I know this isn't really what Zmud is for :P
I play MUDS all of the time and so does my partner, however, she also logs into a telnet server to grab her Email from PINE.
My problem is this, I would like for her to be able to use Zmud to play MUDS and log into her PINE. Zmud does this, but due to the command line, commands like uparrow, downarrow (to scroll through the list of Emails, etc) don't work. Is their a way I can get Zmud to send key presses direct instead of via the command line ?
I hope this makes sense,
Kind Regards,
Daniel LeBeau.

Click on the Prefs button, expand General, select Emulation and check Character mode.

Thankyou - I tried that, but it didn't work at first. Realised that I should have made sure it was using Zmud emulation before posting this topic, hehe.
Last question - With the latest V of Zmud, are preferences global or character by character ?

Preferences remain both. Proxy, IP Lookup, Memory, and Directories can have global defaults set. The rest of the defaults are provided by the default.mud and global.mud files. Each character can override all preference settings.
