docking edit window

I don't know how I did it, but I managed to undock the edit window for the triggers/aliases/etc. from the main window. I'm using 6.16, and I can't figure out how to dock it back in place. This is driving me up the wall, how do I fix it?

First, somewhere within the Settings Editor menu is an option to unlock the layout. This should allow you to dock things and stuff within the Settings Editor. Next, grab ahold of the Editor pane and start dragging it around within the Settings Editor. There are at least two hotspots within the Settings Editor where the Edit panel can be dropped to dock. When you hit one you'll see a gray outline of the window.

I have the layout unlocked, and I've been dragging this window around for an awfully long time. Maybe I just missed the hotspots? I don't know, but I'm not getting anywhere.

Make sure that Dockable is checked in the Settings Editor window.

Also you may have checked Alt-Docking in the preferences. If that is the case you will have to hold down the ALT key while dragging to get it to dock.

Finally I got it. I guess I didn't have the right combination of lock/dockable options checked. Generally I catch on to simple things like this, and I feel quite silly for not figuring out something as easy as that. Perhaps it was a prolonged brain fart? Yes, that must be it. Anywho, thanks guys.
