#SUB |
How can I use a #SUB to have text go to a new line, and them be able to trigger off that new line.
This is what I am trying to do,
My mud displays the light level within the room description so I want to seperate it so I can issue the #NOMAP command.
IF I just trigger off the light level, the entire description line gets the #NOMAP instead of just the light level.
Example room
A very small tunnel
You are deep underground in a very small rocky tunnel. The ceiling here is very very low. A large pool forms in this room. It is blindingly bright here.
Exits: north, east, southwest, and west.
I have tried using the following.
#TR {It is blindingly bright here.} {#SUB {%CR It is blindingly bright here.}
This appears to format the screen correctly by placing the light level on a seperate line, but if i add a second trigger to #NOMAP this line, the second trigger never gets fired.
#TR {^It is blindingly bright here.} {#NOMAP;#COLOR white}

Seems like you can't. It appears that text produced by #SUB is not checked agaisnt any other triggers for matches.

Looks like you'll have to try it the other way around, using #TAG.
