String Manipulation

Alright, I am basically looking to see if anyone knows some quick and basic string manipulating commands using zMud? For example you read into a variable a string of some length and want to be able to reverse the letters of the word? Or perhaps capitalize etc.

Don't know if anyone else has brought this up before but, if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Look in the help file under Functions, Predefined.

Using the Search link at the top of the page, with the keyword "reverse", and limited to the "zMUD General Discussion" forum, it took less than a minute to find reverse string, along with a host of others. It will probably produce equally fast results for other manipulations.

Capitalization can be done using the %Proper or %UPPER function, depending on which you want.
