Zmud Mapper Crashes

I can't seem to figure out why, but when I use the mapper on Zmud, it appears to be working fine. Then when I try to save the map that I've spent an hour creating, Zmud gives me an Access Violation error, and promptly crashes. I don't understand it. I'm using 6.16, but I don't think anyone else is having this problem. If anyone knows how to solve this, I would be forever grateful!

Perhaps your maps are corrupted. Try reading in the Migration Guide for some tips on how to solve this. However, there is a possibility that there could be nothing you could do about it. A simple test to see if it is actually map corruption would be to create another, blank character and start a new map and see if it happens with a newly created map.

It seems that the real problem that it seems to be having with the map files, is that I get the following error message: Cannot create file ... _temp.map
So I don't think it has anything to do with corrupted map files, and I'm not importing any anyway. Is there something else I'm missing here?
