What is this and how can I fix it so I see the colors not this stuff. Can't play if this stuss takes up the hold screen

This would be MXP output. To process the MXP tags you need zMUD 6.16 or higher. Next is to make sure that it is enabled. Click Prefs, MXP, check Enable MUD eXtension Protocol. Then click the + next to MXP, go to Elements, System tab and make sure the line <color ... is checked.
If it still doesn't work, then there may be something wrong with the MUD's implementation of MXP. Post the address and we can take a look.

That closing tag doesn't look correct... shouldn't it be </color fore>??? I think that whould be why it's not showing correctly.
