window size |
i wanted to know there was any way to send a command to the MUD every time the main window was resized that would include the number of lines that it would hold.
There is a variable you can set on my MUD that lets you set the number of lines it prints before waiting for a keypress
anyone know how to do it?

I can't think of a way to do this with any sort of script...
The best way to do it is to try to convince your MUD's admins to implement NAWS. This will inform the MUD about your current window size automatically when you change it so it can format its output if it wishes.
If your MUD admins want more information on NAWS, it's available here.
