Hunt Bot Without Same-line direction? |
I can make a hunter bot when it says :
Kobold, nearby to the north.
That's easy enough. But ONE mud I play on is a godwars/vampire wars mud, and the scan command displays this:
[North]
No exit.
[East]
No exit.
[South]
BoobooKitty's servant
BoobooKitty's servant
BoobooKitty's servant
[West]
No exit.
[Up]
No exit.
[Down]
No exit.
Does anyone have an idea on how to modify or write a script so that it will hunt or kill under those guidelines? Thanks in advance,
-Blackwolffe
On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolffe with the red, red, roses? |

The direction comes first, followed by all the mobs in that direction. So use a trigger to get the direction and store it in a variable. Use another trigger to get the mobs, the direction will be in the variable.
Using multiple posts to ask the same question won't get you better answers.
