plugin

I have just brought zmapper and tried to install the plugin. I have checked the pluging field in the plugin window. Is there a file I need to install after I have done this, as it seems i am still running on the Zmud mapper when i click on the map button in Zmud.

zMapper is automatically installed as a plugin into zMUD. You don't have to select any file or anything. If you have zMapper licensed on your system, then it will automatically show up in the list of plugins for zMUD allowing you to enable or disable it.

zMapper was *designed* to look just like the zMUD mapper. So, the fact that it looks the same is a good thing. That is because you are still displaying a normal zMUD map. However, if you edit the map using zMapper and change how rooms look, etc, then these changes will get displayed in zMUD when you have the zMapper plugin enabled.

So, again, the map won't look any different until you edit it using zMapper to take advantage of the zMapper features.

Is the plugin only used to display a zMapper map within zMud? With the plugin enabled I see changes that were made in zMapper, but I don't see any of the extra editing options. Will those be added later, or will we have to switch between zMud and zMapper to make changes? Thanks.

As a Plugin it only _shows_ changes. To edit zMapper spezific things, you need to start zMapper as a standalone program. So yes, you will have to switch.

It will easier to do this in future versions. But for now you have to switch.
