Zmud Windows

I'm having trouble with my windows...I have a main window on the bottom, a separate window on the top left, and one across from that...I save the layout, it works fine. Until i restart Zmud. It changes the windows, pops them out of docking, even adds the text bars and a clock where you type. I use the window options to remove the clock and stuff, but it always comes back the next time. Please help!

Try saving the settings of each window too. Make sure that the window you want is selected and then click on Settings|Save. Then, save the layout and lock it too.

I did...My triggers eventually caused the windows to go whack, i had to reinstall zmud and remake ALL of my triggers, just to get it to run. I still have no working windows

Ok, Here's the steps you need to follow:

1> delete your (mudname).lay file... we're going to resave it in a bit...
2> create all your capture windows
3> click on the first capture window, right click, and remove the caption and status line
4> click "Settings" "Save"
5> change to the mud directory (it defaults to the zmud directory, I believe) and save your settings
6> repeat steps 3-5 for EACH capture window
7> dock your windows the way you want them
8> save the layout
9> lock the layout

Do note that EVERY window has separate settings that have to be saved (this is why you keep getting the command line and status line back on the windows) and that they should be saved to the MUD directory, not the zmud directory.
