password recovering zmud char-data

First, I think it would be nice to have a methode to extract the password from your zmud char-data.

This is why:
I haven't played discworld for a year or 2, then recently I found out discworld hasn't deleted my chars.
3 of my chars have thesame password, but 1 doesn't.
Now what password that was, I haven't got the slightest idea.
But I DO have the old zMUD files where I filled out the char's password.
Unfortunate it's crypted or something.

Can anyone give me a solution to recover that pasword from (here it comes) zMUD 3.62a 16-bit ?

yours truly,
CpR

I haven't seen 3.62 but see if there's an option in your preferences called 'gag password'. Uncheck that option, go offline, then type #show %pass in your character window. It should show you the password.
