Is there a way in zmud to send messages from command line to another person that uses zmud without it going via the mud? IE to use the ip of the player? Sorta:
#sendip 123.123.123.123 "Hi, how are you?"

Nope, it's not possible (except perhaps via plugin). The closest you can probably get otherwise would be to create an alias that prevents your message from being sent to the MUD and then shunting off the message to AIM, mIRC, or some other chat application.

zChat _is_ a plugin, and it provides commands to use it from the command-line. E.g.:
#CALL <IP>
#CHAT <Session> <Text>
Of course, the other person will need zMUD+zChat too, but they'd need that anyway, zMUD doesn't listen to any ports (that I know of) so you'd need some other software.

I don't have the knowledge to do it.
Maybe somebody did it already/will do it/knows how to do it?

Those are step-by-step instructions.
Step 1. Make a connection to the person you want to chat with -- #CALL <IP>
Step 2. Talk to them -- #CHAT <Session> <Text>
What else do you want?
