Mapping Question..

Is it possible to configure the mapper to specifically exclude stuff in a room name...?

When moving around on my mud.. standard output is:

+-----------+ Nearing the Top
| | [Exits: north down]
| |
| O |
| | |
| X |
| |
| |
| |
| |
+-----------+

Is there a way to cut out the "+-----------+" but still get the room name? thanks in advance

Yes, it is. Check out the #TAG command here.

For example,

#TRIGGER {^+-----------+ (*)$} {#TAG name "%1"}

When you add a #TAG command, you should go through the autoconfiguration of the mapper so it can pick up the new changes.

Outstanding.. One other question.. On this mud players have a way to teleport themselves around, and move from zone to zone easily because of it.. how would I go about setting up a trigger to detect where I am when I teleport, and update the map accordingly?

Please subscribe to the Beta Forum. I believe there are already discussions there about #find in the beta versions.
