opening doors with automapper

I know this is said throughout the help files and such, but it's still not working.

I have two rooms linked with a door on both sides, yet when I try to walk through it, it doesn't seen open up or open door, even though I have the open %1 or open %2 in the map properties and have tried it for both. Essentially, nothing is being sent - I don't even see anything pass through the queue.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that the doors are listed in parenthesis, i.e. Exits: north (south) (up) down

On that note, is there any easier way to have it detect the doors aside from setting triggers for 1-8 doors separately?

Another problem I've run across on the automapper...whenever I create a new zone, it gives me a division by zero, and I can't do anything with the zone...

I'm using 6.31 beta, btw.

Upgrade to a more recent version. These are known problems of past versions.

I downloaded the latest beta, and although the new zone works now, it still won't send the open door/dir command to the mud. I also tried creating a new mdb and configuration but to no avail.

You might want to try posting this in the Beta Forum. However, just in case, I believe that the mapper doesn't try to open doors when in map mode, it only does it in follow mode.
