I say 'gate' Mapper says 'direction'!

I know this topic probably has been discussed a million times. But i will be da*ned if i can find it. I have it set in properties 'gate', but the mapper says other wise when i walk to a destination. How do i fix this basic problem?

Click edit on the mapper, then map properties, then strings and doors. in the top box, type open %2
that should do it. |
