Status Window Help... |
Okay. Here's the deal. I used to have zMUD window set up just perfectly - it consisted of three windows (tells, main, and status) and they all fit together in a nice little package. A very simplist diagram of what I mean... the pipelines (|) indicate new windows. So the main and status windows are in the same area, and the tells are at top.

That setting above worked for me perfectly. Well, the other day, I turned off the status window, then turned it back on... only to have a floating window this time. Nothing I could do would dock the status window back to it's original place. So, I'm hoping someone can help me restore it back to where I want it to be. Thank you.

Check to ensure that the layout isn't locked, then just start dragging it around until the window outline matches where you want to dock it.

Unfortunately, that didn't seem to do the trick. It was true, I had it on locked laoyout. But after unlocking it, closing the status window, re-opening the status window, moving it around, shutting down zMUD, opening it back up... nothing so far has seemed to work...

Check the "-" or "+" sign at the top right corner of the window to remove floating status

Meh. I found out the problem. Didn't realize I had "ALT for Docking" checked. Anyway, got it fixed now. Thanks for the help. :)
