buttons list
 
all I want to do is bring up a list of my buttons and their corresponding text. So I can edit them, change their colour etc. etc. I used to be able to do it....not sure what happened

Does this only happen with buttons, or with any other setting too? What exactly happens, do you click on Buttons and then nothing happens? Was this happening before? Did it start to happen after you made some particular change, in your settinds and/or computer? Did you try following the steps described here, in case your settings got corrupted?
