text formatting, trigger states, etc.

hiya folks. i'm having some problems with formatting the scoresheet that my mud uses.

here is sample output:

You are Nestor and have lived through 222 cycles of the moons.

Mag [ 19 ] Str [ 23 ] Hit [ 983/ 983 ]
Cle [ 14 ] Int [ 20 ] Mana [ 520/ 520 ]
Thi [ 21 ] Wis [ 24 ] Stamina [ 1050/ 1050 ]
War [ 30 ] Dex [ 20 ] Carry [ 1/ 38 ]
Psi [ 27 ] Con [ 16 ] Weight [ 107/ 800 ]

AC [ -53 ] Exp [ 9227156 ]
Hitroll [ 31 ] Gold [ 433808140 ]
Damroll [ 57 ] Aptitude [ 10862 ]

You are resting, neutral, and mudding.

what i want to do, in a nutshell, is grab all of that info and make it pretty. sounds easy enough, but i also want to add in extra things. for example, after the mage level, i'd like to have it state how much is needed to level mage. there is no way to know this without first plugging in the thief, cleric, warrior, and psionicist levels into a formula. i don't know how to gather information that comes after the mage level, and then use it to plug in an experience cost on the same line as the mage level. is this even possible without first grabbing the info and putting it into a bunch of variables

try something like this:

set the vars for mage, cleric, thief, and warrior when they come up, then gag those lines out.

on the psi line, do all your calculations, then do just #SHOW or #ECHO back all the lines you gagged.

tell me how you figure out the levels, and i'll write a working trigger for you
