How do I close a window with zmud script?

Essentially I am using the #cap statement to create a window to contain all the group tells while I am grouped. However, when not in groups, I want my script to automatically close that window that #cap created. How can I do this?

Thanks,
Tony

Just set a trigger on whatever text the mud gives you when your group is disbanded, and use the #close command to close the window by name.

i.e.
#trig {Your group is disbanded|You now follow yourself} {#Close GroupTells}

A quick search of the help file reveals a lot

Yes, I agree a quick scan of the helpfiles can reveal a lot. Such as the command wizard inside Zmud saying that #close function is for closing a file, not a window.

Thanks for help! Which help system did you use to find this information?

Oh ye of little patience Hehe j/k.

From the zMUD 6 help file on this site, linked from my sig...

CLOSE
Syntax: #CL filenum
#CL windowname
Related: #FILE
Close the file given by filenum. It must have already been opened using the FILE command.

You can also use the Close command to close a window by specifying the name of the window in place of the filenum parameter.

CLOSE example
#CLOSE 1
Closes file number 1

#CLOSE Tell
Closes the window named "Tell"
