Saving Window Positions and settings...

Quick Question, When I choose Save Settings and Save Layout, my windows return to their previous position the next time they are used, but they always show up with status bars and command lines attached. I only want my main window to have these features... Can I disable them permanently in my other windows?

Thanks in advance

Sure, you need to save the settings of that windows. The problem is that you must make sure that the window you want to have its settings saved is the active one. So, first click on the other window and the do a Settings|Save. Also, name the settings file the same name as the window's name.
