Mapper config problems |
I can't seem to configure the zmud mapper to work with the mud which i play on. Here is some sample text:

N
| /
Flamers way W ---*--- E
/ |
S SE
You are at the intersection of Silicon row, a tarry village
street to the north, and Flamer's way, a pleasant country
lane which starts here and gently inclines to the west. You
are struck by the sharp contrast between the smog-filled vista
to the east, and the strange winking archway visible there,
and the pleasant fields to the south.
There are five obvious exits: east, west, south, north, southeast

I'd like to set up the mapper to automatically fill in the room name, desc, and exits. But the mappers auto-config won't configure to work with anything but room exits, and even then, it doesn't always pick them up.
I need help finding what paragraph/line my room name and room desc start on. the compass thing at the top/right corner throws things off. (because there is not always going to be a NORTH exit, i'm thinking the room name might end up on a different line in the paragraph?)
also what check boxes do I need checked to match the room name, desc, and exits. Thank you ever so much for any help you can provide |

ACK!
the

tags worked in the "Preview" window. hmm. I don't know how to make this look right
basically there is a small compass in the top right corner, and the room name falls on the left side, and on the same line as the middle of the compass |

OK!
I got the room desc to pick up as well. now all i need is the room name.
and i think i'd be able to do the room name, cept for one problem. if there is a NORTH exit, and an "N" is put on top of the compass (to show a NORTH exit) then that "N" adds a line to the paragraph that contains the room name.
So either I match "Flamers way" (the proper room name) or I match "|/" (the line just above the room name)
Can anyone help me with this? |
