Zmud16F windows XP nonusable

Windows XP has a lot of programs. One of the glaring problem is its noncompatibility with
older programs, most notably to me, ZMUD16F
i realize that zmud16f is a freebie software.
but still these software is a classic, i still like this software a lot. prolly got use to it, from a these years of using it.
Anyone has any ideas how to make Zmud16F, the free one, the classic, work at windows crappy XP?

I'm sure you'll hear the word "unsupported" come up. :)

I tried that version wth Win2K. No joy. I don't remember hearing anyone get it working under Win2K +.

Plain and simply put, zmud16f will NEVER work with Windows XP. Might not work with Windows 2000, either, but I honestly don't know.

16-bit software support died out, and the only way to get it back is to downgrade to a 16-bit-capable OS. The last one, I believe, was Windows 98 2nd Edition.

Again, the code is simply not there to support 16-bit applications in XP or 2k.

Have you tried running in compatibility mode? I think if you right-click on the exe, go to properties, click on the compatibility tab, then choose win98. See if that works for you.
