Comments in zMUD

zMUD is great. I love it. It's given me a good understanding of scripting, and since I started using it, I've picked up other scripting languages as well. I'm now taking java scripting classes, and I find it amazingly similar.

One big difference tho, is the comments charater //. I know other computer languages use such charaters to add comments to code as well. It would be extremely handy when you have a trigger that's 60+ lines long, full of #IF, #VAR, and #MATH commands. (I can't be the only one that has at least one trigger like this, right?)

Is there command to add a comment into my scripts (aliases, macros, triggers, buttons, all of them)? and if not, how may I plead to Zugg to add something for future releases of zMUD?

Lightbulb's tip:
quote:

I can't find it anywhere in the helpfiles, so this is from personal knowledge.

Use a ; (semi-colon) at the beginning of the line to make the whole line a comment.
Use // (double-slash) anywhere else to make the remainder of the line a comment.

These are both in the Script Parser preferences and must be checked if you plan to use them.
