trigger/alias command echo |
I have found a preference to turn the echoing of commands sent by triggers and aliases on and off. Is there a way to enable and disable this inside an alias?
I've made a spellup system for my spouse, and while she likes seeing what her triggers and aliases are doing, we'd like to avoid the spam that comes from running this ONE particular command, and would like to disable it ever-so-briefly while the command blasts a bunch of text at the MUD.
Thanks in advance,
Metria. |

Someone just read this and responded to me on the MUD in question.
If I use #send, it doesn't show the text on screen, which is perfect. Thanks. |

i need something similar to this, but instead of supressing the echo, i want it to turn ON while I run one alias, and then turn it back OFF after the alias, so that I see all the commands that I type during this alias, is this possible?

No. But just as Metria could use #SEND to transmit directly to the MUD, you could use #SAY or #SHOW to display anything you choose.
