Gambling Bots Scripts

Hello there,

I play the MUD Realms of Despair, and am interested in creating a plethura of casino bots. What I am looking for are bots that can play blackjack, poker, slots, or roulette. Problem is I am only semi-literate in such matters. So if anyone can help me out, it would be great. Thanks.

PS- I understand that many of you who have created bots like this in the past could be rather hesitant in giving away your prized secrets. so any assistance you can lend would be awesome :-)

Questions like these are unanswerable. You have provided none of the information on which an answer would depend. My best advice would be to stick to simpler tasks until you are well beyond "semi-literate".

This is a losing proposition, I must warn you. I've talked to Cyril about it (Cyril runs Vitarla, Shealah, etc.), and there are very few players actually ahead in the game. I'm certainly not one of them.

I've played Vitarla's Blackjack at great lengths using entirely automated scripts to make my bets and plays. I found a playing system online that uses probability to recommend which action to take given a specific situation (ie. Dealer has 8, player has 12: Do you hit, stay, double, split, etc). I programmed a set of zMUD scripts to follow the probability system exactly. I'm losing horrendously .

I could give you the triggers, but trust me, you don't want to do this. Heh.

You'd be much farther ahead to create scripts to run the crabs or something. I've made far more money doing that than donating it to Cyril's fortune.

Hiya Mbwana and Darker

To make a casino bot is pretty advanced if you want it to be bug free and fast. Personally I think you should do like I did, read the helpl files and manual on triggers, aliases, variables etc, and then experiment with all sorts of triggers. I have one casino bot and loads of triggers and such on my chars, but Ive spent some time learning. Besides, if your bot should need modifications or such, you should know what to do instead of asking ppl, right?

Good luck to ya anyways :)
