Problem with keypad

hi guys
i use to play on a german mud server. so there is no "e" command which means means it does not go east because on german muds u must use "o" for ost. the other commands all work (coz they have same beginning in germany). can somebody tell me how i can change this so i can use alle the keypads?

You have to edit keypad Macro keys.
I'm going straight into the settings:
In the Menu Bar 'View|Macro keys...',

When you open the 'System->Keypad folder' you should be able to see the inherited (or default) settings for your keypad. Change the value for KEY6 from 'e' to 'o' and save it.
This will create a new (duplicate) setting for your KEY6 Macro key which will supersede the existing inherited or default settings (which are always loaded). Save it into your primary settings file to continue to use it.

I guess it is currently hidden. In the Settings Window. Make sure that there is a tick next to 'View|Show Iherited'.

Actually, you don't need to look for the inherited settings. Simply create a new macro over it. Press 'Ctrl-K' and press the number 6 on the keypad and then place an 'o' in the value box.

Cheers.

You should find the class 'directions' (you need to make visible 'inherited' settings for this),
and click the checkbox 'remove this inherited class when loading'.
Then created german dirs by pasting this to the commandline:
#DIR du {u|unten} d {G_dir}
#DIR ew {o|osten} e {G_dir}
#DIR ns {n|norden} n {G_dir}
#DIR sn {s|sueden} s {G_dir}
#DIR ud {ob|oben} u {G_dir}
#DIR we {w|westen} w {G_dir}
and save your settings.
Now the mapper should work with the german directions.

(used to work with some older version - not tested with current version)
