If Telnet access is Banned |
The MUD I'm playing requires users to have different IPs, but me and my sister want to play at the same time. To get around this, one of us use zMud to connect to the school account, then from there telnet to the MUD we play.
However, the school's security committee just announced that they will ban Telnet access to all school servers in a few weeks (but allow SSH and PuTTY).
Does that mean I won't be able to use zMud to connect to the school server anymore? Since the port number 23 I use at the moment will be banned.. Is there a way to get around this?
Thanks. |

Yep, you'll be banned. zMUD doesn't support SSH, so you'll have to find another shell to bounce through.
