main window won't scroll up

I can't scroll back up to view previous stuff that's happened on the mud..

ok i feel pretty dumb as it is, since i can't find the answer to this myself, through trial and error or otherwise. I made another set of settings so there's nothing corrupted and checked them with the one in question but i can't seem to find what's wrong. While i know deleting the old setting will fix it, i really don't want to lose all those triggers and aliases. So, i've learned it's not the mud itself, and it's nothing blatently obvious, or maybe it is and it's elluding me. Any help at all would be appriciated.

Your splitter bar is probably all the way at the top so when you go to splitscreen mode you only see the bottom screen.
Theres a button right under the vertical scrollbar when its depressed and has a blue line across it you're in splitscreen mode.
At the top of the window where the text scrolls off the window just hover the mouse button around up there and move it a bit.
when you're over the splitter bar the icon will change, at this point you can just hold down left click on it and drag the splitter bar down.

I hope thats it anyways. :)
