Which version?
Which settings exactly? All, or specific ones?
Have you tried exporting/reimporting your settings?
Failing that, can you give us a screen shot?

Sounds like you are perhaps editing the zMud
settings and not your trigger/alias/etc
settings.
From your main character window a Ctrl-G
should open the right settings editor.
