Ever get odd bugs?

Every once in a while I come across something that to me appears to be a bug, but a peek at the current bug list and forum posts shows that it seems to be isolated to just me. After thinking about it, I realized that I've gone a looooong time without doing a 'clean' install of zMud... I rely on the auto update system, or simple install over my current directory.
Today, I backed everything up and did a clean install of zMud 6.26a. What a difference! All the strange quirks and oddities I had been experiencing were resolved, and my triggers/mapper are working better than ever.
So... just a helpful tip if you start encountering 'strange' behaviour that you simply know isn't a bug but can't otherwise resolve.

As an example to what was fixed: I had the worst time getting triggers with the patterm %* to work. Any time there was a 'special' character (ie., something used by zMud itself, like the semicolon) the trigger would fail. The reinstall cleared this up, thankfully! I have also seen quite a reduction in the number of Exceptions. Overall, it was well worth the time.
