The alt button |
Is there anyway to disable the alt from highlighting the file, edit, view and the others on top. I dont know how many times I have messed my layout up when i hit the alt for a macro or just hit the alt on accident.

There's no way to just disable that functionality, but I suppose you could create dummy macros of all the program hotkeys and then turn on the Override feature in Preferences.
