Problem With Color Syntax -- Bug or My Weirdness?

(Oops, I meant to put this in the beta forum, since I'm using 6.26a. My apologies...I'd move it, if I knew how. :-))

My MUD specifies foreground colors except for black, and doesn't specify background colors, so I have rgbcmyw for dim, RGBCMYW for bright, D for grey, |F for foreground syntax, |F for both syntax, |x for reset syntax, and all other boxes blank.

I've tested the syntax by copying-and-pasting from the output window to the command line, and everything works *except* when the string copied begins with bright white. (I haven't tested dim white, nor have I tested bright white followed by dim white and dim white followed by bright white.) If there's another color, and *then* a bright white (I haven't tested dim white there, either), it shows |W just fine. But, if I copy starting within a bright-white zone (both at the beginning of a line and in the middle of a word), it shows |F instead, consistently.

I tried putting dummy values in for the blank fields, but it did no good, so I took them out again...all three times, it still fails in this way. Is this supposed to happen?

The way to move a post to another forum is to post a new topic in the other forum and copy everything that you had in the other one in the other forum. Then you put in the old one a message saying that you would like the topic deleted so that any Guru that sees it will do it.

Posts about possible beta bugs must be in the beat forum. This is not only to keep everything orderly, but because the bug won't be fixed if it is in the General Forum. During beta testing Zugg has time only to answers posts in the Beta Forum, not the General Forum, thus your problem will go unseen by him and will never be fixed, if it is a bug.
