Upgrading Zmud

Every so often Zmud will tell me there's a new version out, and would I like to upgrade my existing installation. I always answer 'no' - I've had issues with being on the bleeding edge of Zmud development :P

However, time has come, I think to upgrade (I'm on 5.55) and for the life of me I can't seem to find an 'upgrade' option in Zmud itself. I guess I could download the 6.(whatever) and install that. But that'd require me looking up my registration details (saved somewhere about 5 years ago now)...

Question I have is, 'is there an upgrade me' feature in Zmud somewhere. One would expect so, as it asks me occasionally, but I'm a pink-spotted-lesser-wallaby if I can find it..

Help|Check for New Version should ask you to upgrade provided you have not told zMUD before to Stop Asking (or I think maybe the button jsut says No)

However, you can still go to the downloads page, like you said and download zMUD 6.16. Keep in mind, however, that there is only one version of zMUD - full. There is no upgrade version which will only upgrade a previous installation. The executable you download will decide if it needs to upgrade selected files or intsall the whole thing completely.

With this in mind, let me tell you that I can't quite remember if when upgrading from 5.55 to 6.x it asks you for the registration code again, but if it does, you have no choice but too look it up, or e-mail support@zuggsoft.com to have it sent to you. If it will ask you for it, it will ask you for it no matter what. It doesn't matter if you use the Check for New Version, or download it from the webpage.
